Read full review.The Mini Maxx tuner ONLY works on the below list of vehicles: I'm sure there are cheaper tuners but you will be impressed by this one. I only used it to tune after the deletes. I guess that's why it's called a race tuner but you can use it just to tune it and then store it in case you have to download a file or something like that. I could increase the HP by a touch of a button but there's really no reason for that other than racing. Oh and it's on the lowest setting and on stock mode! But when you accelerate its Unbelievable!!! Some black smoke but only when you accelerate. My MPG went from 12 to 17 and the sound of those turbines of the turbo chargers when you turn the truck off sound like a jet!! This truck never responded as well as now. I then plugged in the H&S Mini Max tuner, downloaded the files to the trucks computer. So I deleted the whole EGR system to include that blasted cooler and the entire exhaust system. Texas does not require Diesel powered motor vehicles and motorcycles to submit to Emissions testing. Then a cloud of white smoke out the tail pipe. Preliminary investigation revealed EGR malfunction. Didn't expect gains anywhere near this. I went from 13.5mpg on the display, about 11 hand calc. It's been installed for 3 weeks and is the best thing ever for my 07.5 ram2500. I was nervous to order a 600$ piece of hardware that's no longer even in buisness. No joke, 11mpg stock to 19 with mini maxx hand calc. ![]()
